DeWitt Lampman is one of the most knowledgeable Automotive glass experts I have had the pleasure to have worked with in my over 40 years of Automotive glass manufacturing. His technical depth and breadth of experience is truly impressive. He is an outstanding forensic glass technologist and problem solver.

I had the privilege of working with DeWitt for many years in the product management arena. DeWitt has an extensive knowledge of glass and the glass forming process, both of which have been extremely valuable in contributing to new developments in automotive glass technology. He worked with affiliates around the world to provide valuable technical guidance and advice to help them succeed in the manufacturing process of both existing and new products.

DeWitt is highly knowledgeable and driven when it comes to finding solutions to automotive glass problems. While working with him, we authored three SAE technical papers on new automotive glass products, one of which won the Arch T. Colwell SAE merit award. DeWitt was also instrumental in helping to develop technical solutions and new concepts for new product development, including developing financial cost figures for those products.
